First Visit to Wiltshire by HRH The Duchess of Cambridge
Warminster Town Council are delighted that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge will be making her first official visit to Wiltshire this week when she visits Action on Addiction’s Centre for Addiction Treatment Studies (CATS), The Manor House, Warminster, on Thursday, 10th December. Her Royal Highness, who is Patron of the charity, will be arriving late morning to join guests to celebrate CATS’ ten-year partnership with the University of Bath.
Action on Addiction is a registered charity with treatment centres throughout England. They have a specialist family service, innovative research programmes and an expert training centre. Their vision is people free from addiction and its effects and the charity works to find ever more effective ways of disarming addiction in individuals, families, communities and society as a whole, working both directly and indirectly on behalf of its beneficiaries.
The Mayor of Warminster, Councillor Sue Fraser, said: “We are delighted that Warminster has the honour of hosting the Duchess on her first visit to Wiltshire.”
